Design Challenge Learning Supports

The challenge is designed to be a supportive process for schools to apply a human-centered lens on decision making and solution design. There are three ways you can get help in the Design Challenge.

Asynchronous Virtual Course

An asynchronous virtual course will be the backbone for this professional learning experience.  Team leads have specific modules to support them in scoping a challenge, recruiting a team and building a work plan. We encourage all team members to also register and access the virtual course so they can review the Design Challenge guidelines, design thinking professional learning content and to understand and support the Milestone Deliverables.

All recorded webinars, deliverable rubrics and downloadable tools will be within the course lessons.

Milestone Deliverables will be submitted via a Google Form accessible in the Course.

The full asynchronous virtual course can be accessed once
 registered.

Live Webinars

Webinars are designed to explain in greater detail the stages of the design thinking process, supporting teams using it for the first time, or who want to refresh their skills. Each session will also cover key tips on completing the Milestone Deliverables for the challenge.

If you're looking for a way to get ahead of the competition,  we encourage your team attends if possible or watches recordings available in the online course.

Each webinar will be 30-60 minutes  with time afterwards offered for one-on-one support and questions.

Webinar Dates:

Registered team members will receive calendar invites to each webinar.
